Phase 1 Environmental Assessments
Environmental Management, Inc. performs over 30 Phase I assessments per year with our Senior Environmental Geologist having performed over 400 in his career.
The purpose of the Phase I Environmental Assessment is to assess the subject property for evidence of hazardous waste related environmental concerns. This is intended to fulfill the purchasers “due diligence” requirements. By definition, Phase I Environmental Assessments do not include laboratory testing or analysis, but are intended to guide additional assessment activities if necessary.
Advanced Environmental Management performs Phase I Environmental Assessments in general accordance with ASTM E 1527-05 Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process. The scope of services for this assessment is designed to satisfy the Innocent Landowner Defense of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).
